Grossman is a former West Point psychology professor, Professor of Military Science, and an Army Ranger.  Lt. Col. Dave Grossman is an internationally recognized scholar, author, soldier, and speaker who is one of the world’s foremost experts in the field of human aggression and the roots of violence and violent crime.

Safety Security Consultants LLC has provided this safety training materials and FAQ’s as a general guide in response to requests for information about improving awareness and preparation for managing an active shooter event. These materials are designed to provide general information. An individual must use his/her own discretion during an active shooter event as to whether he/she chooses to run to safety or remain in place. Therefore, participants should not consider these materials as a sole information source sufficient in itself to dictate any outcome or decision on responding to an active shooter event. Rather, this material should be simply be utilized for improving discussion and raising awareness about the techniques for surviving an active shooter event.
